ASTP is proud to have some really outstanding sunless business owners who make up our membership base. Each week, we feature one of our members so you can get to know them and their business.
We chose to begin our feature series by introducing you to our 2018 Sunless Summit planning committee.
Meet our 2nd Planning Committee Member...

What I Wear (solution brand and % used to spray YOU): Perfect Glow 50/50 rapid is my fave
I chose to be an airbrush tanner because: I so love making people feel beautiful.
If I weren't an airbrush tanner I would be: Marketing Coordinator
My most embarrassing moment as a business owner: Having one of my clients looking like an alligator post shower
(Note from Shonna: We've all been there, babe!)
Favorite social media outlet: Facebook
The one thing I could not live without for my biz: Online booking system – Square
The part of owning my own business I am not very good at: Time Management
The one thing I wish I knew when I started my business: Not spraying too heavy
(Note from Shonna: I think this is the BIGGEST and most common mistake new business owners make!)
Where I plan to be in five years: New studio with a store front and second location.
Business owners who inspire me: Brenna Holt, Jenn Dieas
Quote I love: “If you like it, that’s all that matters” – Rhonda Campbell (my momma)
When I’m not working, I love to: Spend time with my hubby
My favorite thing about owning my own business: Meeting new people every day and making them feel good.
The thing I dislike most about owning my own business: I'm really terrible at saying no to people, so I tend to get overworked and stressed.
My friends would say I am: Enthusiastic, caring, sweet
If I could share some wisdom with someone just getting started in this biz it would be: Track everything! Track what solutions you like/don’t like, track what you use on everyone, and track your sales.
Any parting words? I am very excited to be a part of a group that uplifts and helps one another. Since joining ASTP my business has grown tremendously and I enjoy being able to ask likeminded individuals questions about this industry.
